code 43 on my tpi

i got a code 43 - faulty knock sensor, low voltage at electronic spark timing circuit.

got the code a while ago and i could only get the check engine light to come on if id been driving for an hour or did a little "hot rodding" ive replaced the knock sensor, everything looks good, and while that was being done i also had a 180* thermostat put in as well. this was 3 days ago. now my check engine light comes on immediatly after its been started and stays on. i pulled the code.. same code 43 as before. i did clear the comp, left the battery unhooked over night, and im not sure what to do now. help??

its in the distributor it sits down under the cap....it would give you a electronic spark timing code just now sure which one

sometimes its possible for it to have a bad connection..i would also check to make sure your prom is seated in the ecm properly...

i think ignition modules are a fairly common repair at least once on tpi cars.
