Non functional MAF relay effects?

Non functional MAF relay effects?
Hey Guru's;
Here i am again....just replaced the MAF relay. She seems to run better. What are the effects of a Non functional MAF relay and how would it effect et in the 1/4?

I would believe almost nothing since the ECM bypasses the MAF at WOT.
