Vette Heads and Cam

hey guys, well the TPI bug has bit me. the L03 i have now just isn't enough so i'm looking into buying another L98 3rd gen. it's an 89 IROC just like my old one. but it's a 355 with alum. vette heads and the L98 Vette cam...

my question is, how much of a difference if any is there between the vette cam and the camaro cam. also with the 355 with forged pistons, stock crank, stock rods, L98 vette heads, Vette cam, and catback exhaust how much power approx. is that making? also what kinda times would be expected, it's got 2000 RPM converter, and a 3.73 posi gear. also from what i understand is has been under some pretty extensive tuning. thanks for the info.

The late 90-91 Vettes were making about 255hp in stock form.

The stock cam on these is VERY mild. I would suggest stepping up to at least a ZZ4 cam. Affordable and easy to tune around.
