what pistons and compression ratio do you plan to run? Most guys with stock shortblocks get their heads shaved to 58 or 60cc's, but no less. This will give you around 10.5 to 1 compression with a stock bottom end.

Just about everyone that runs these heads on a TPI gets the L98 angle plug heads, they work with just about all headers.
