Just DIED

Hello I have been having a problom with my idle latly, I was dirving to school today and it was idleing really low and I could tell it was going to die then when I tried to go at the stop light, it DIED! Any possiable soultions or does anyone know whats wrong, to much carbon in my tb? Any help would be great, Also I have a HD CAI just for info.

If that is a 1987 firebird that you are picturing there (one of your other posts mentioned you had an '87 bird), then that would mean that you have a 2.8L MPFI engine (this I can see).. If its an '87, then it would have mass air flow fuel management.. Where is your mass air flow sensor??

Is the SES light on??

Its just past that piece that you see on the left, it goes filter,elbow, then maf, then what you see in the picture.

Could be any number of things. I'd start with the basics and make sure you have good fuel pressure and spark. If both of those check out then start digging deeper.

Alright took it in to my buddy's shop this morning and at 2:00 he called me and told me this,
"maf code came up, he deleated it, one vaccume hose was bad he sniped that part off and my tb had alot of carbon in it, told me to drive it around till wed or thursday next week and let him know how it runs , may have to get a new maf if this one is messed up"
