ok well ive really been learning alot in my auto motive class at college..and i found out that plate on the bottom of the intake manifold with 4 bolts is used to heat up intake charge?? so my question is has anyone attempted to remove it??....

also egr valve i want to get a block off plate...how to i disable the egr valve without hurting engine performance...

 

wouldnt blocking the egr give you horrible gas mileage, or is that when you disconnect it ? , either way i barelly get good mileage so it doesnt matter
