High Idle after Edelbrock Install

High Idle after Edelbrock Install

I Installed a Edelbrock TPI Intake and Runners over the weekend now it idles around 2,000 RPM. Any Ideas?
By the way it is a Speed Density System.

check for vacum leaks and make sure u have the runners on the correct sides

Hey MARKGYVER, I am having the very same problem after installing an Accel intake and SLP runners on my 92 Z28. Have you found your problem yet?

Im pretty sure I put my runners on the wrong side I am going to switch them tonight.

Make sure they are not leaking, that was my problem. I used some Mr. Gasket gaskets, and swapped them out for SLP gaskets and they sealed it up and fixed the problem. Good luck with your car.

Fixed the problem

Turns out I had my runners switched. The Driver side needs to be the runner with the Idle Air tube blocked off
