Just got my car dynoed
1st pull = HP 172.4
TQ 284.8
2nd pull = HP 186.3
TQ 276.8
The car is an 89 with an L98. The only thing really done to it is a full exhaust system and K&N filters, MAF screens removed.
It seems to be running rich and I think im loosing alot of power through my tranny.
Im pretty happy with it, considering it has about 260,000 kms on it and the motor/tranny have never been touched.
Atleast now I got a baseline down too for future mods.
Anyone else have a similar setup to mine with some dyno numbers???

Not bad considering the mods. I would have liked to see a before and after of the exhaust. That would have been for the books.
What are your future plans with the car, if any?

I would have done a baseline test without the exhaust but when I bought the car it already had all these things on it.
As far as future plans go I want to do a 383 TPI. I like the stock look of the TPI even though a shorter runner intake would give me some more power.
Ive got most of the engine figured out I just have to decide on heads and a cam and figure out what needs to be done to the fuel system.
Not in a big rush though because Id like to get the car painted first and the engine still runs good.
