problem with SLP runner bolts

Im having problems with the bolts for the uper part of the runner, the ones that atach the runners to the plenum. They dont want to go in all the way. Is not all of them, and is only like 1 or 2mm.
Am I mising washers or something. Im goning to trie the stock ones, but I wanted to use the SLP ones. They look beter.
Anybody got some info on this?

PS: I tried search but nothing posted on this spesific problem.

Make double sure you have the right bolts in the right places. I have a set of those runners and all the bolts fit as intended.

Whenever major dissassembly takes place on any oif my tpi's i chase all the bolt holes out with a tap :-)

Cheap insurance as the aluminum, corrodes and gets half way stripped over the years or goofed up threads on the bolts as well.

Also always assemble a TPI loosely , once everything is in place, then snug it up, then do a final torque

later
