91 L98, 350 TPI BONE STOCK, 1/4 times?

I'm still on the hunt for a good fbody to buy. I've found a completely stock 91 Z28 with a L98 350 TPI motor. No work is done to the car, other than maintenance items. Its one clean car seeing as its only got 40k miles on it. What should a completely stock L98 run in the 1/4?

Thanks to anyone that can help.

It will depend on the year of car. The L98 increased in hp and tq in the later years of it's production run. Seeing as it is a 1991 L98 you should be able to run mid 14's. A '87-'89 L98, for example, should run high 14's stock.

Sorry, but I'm gonna nitpick here. Not flaming on your response, so don't take offense. However, in 1987 when the 350TPI was first offered at 225hp and 330ft/lbs car and driver actually got it to run a 14.5 at 95 mph, bone stock. Since it is a 91, and has 245hp, it should be capable of low 14's at around 97-99mph, depending on where you test it. Sorry, I'm just into the details since A LOT of people think these things are dogs, when they really aren't.

Nice, how many miles on it? What rpm were you launching at? What was your 60ft time?

Screw that man, you need to find a low mile bone stock 91 mustang GT and have a stock nostalgia race.

I've never owned an Edge, but put a few in some customers cars including TorchTA's. Never seen them perform the way they should. My converters were done by a local guy that builds the converters for our race cars. Got one of his in the countrys fastest N/A LT1.
