Pressure Regulator

I installed Crane Cams Adjustable fuel pressure regulator on my
87 IROC 350cu. I followed the instructions exactly. The screw they use seems way too long it hits the plenum way before your down to stock pressure 42psi. I had to cut more than half off it off to use it. Has anybody installed this on there car and had the same problem?

I didn't have that problem with my Crane, it is a long adjusting screw. I did add a nut so I could lock the screw in place at a set pressure.

Do a search for this and I think you will find that many of the aftermarket AFPR makers have this problem. I bought a BBK and will put it on my car soon and did a search. Apparently the Holley unit is the only one that doesent have this kind of problem.
