Damn nice looking job!
I'm in the process of putting my 87 TPI together and I hope it looks half as good as yours. I'm curious, which cam are you running and heads also? Most of all, where did you get those nice plug wires? They are the shat!:hail:

thanks guys, and thanks to DoBeR for posting a much better looking pic than my original.
the engine is a 4 bolt corvette block balanced and blue pirnted to very nice specs
the my goal with this engine right now is to hit low 13's on a stock intake and cam...13.4 i would be very happy with. i need the car back on the road so the build up is not to crazy. also had a tight budget to get the whole car done.
the heads are stock cast iron fully reconditioned, 3 angle valve job, new valves springs, seals.
the plug wires are GM performance parts with moroso looms. i will post more specifics later. right now i have to get back to class. thanks for the complements.

The injectors say Marren on them for Marren Fuel Injection. www.injector.com
only $200 bucks for the set of matched and blueprinted injectors.

Nice engine, I think you have the spark plug wire brackets mounted upside down. I think the wires are supposed to go along the bottom side of the valve cover not the top next to the runners.

dan and i have been good friends for...gosh must be 4 years now. we poke fun at eachother all the time, helps to keep us in check.
89 Iroc Z, you might be right about the wire looms, i just put them on to mock it up for the picture, but i think it will still work that way, i placed them so the end runner goes in between the two looms and the front one wont be anywhere near it. the dam air diverter should fit right in the middle blocking out the nice bow tie. how i will run them once the engine goes in the car i have no idea, but i hope it will look similar.

the whole passenger side of the engine compartment is so cluttered up with A.I.R., heater, and AC hoses on tpi cars. it's kind of anoying when you try to put together nice looking engine and half of it gets blocked out by other things. oh well, thats just the way it goes i guess.

Your wires will roast that way. I had the edelbrocks and even used heat sleves but they all got to wires on the pass side. ONLY way I didnt burn them was to run them under the header.
