Tfs 23* W/slp 1.3/4 Will They Fit?

i think i may have a big problem here, when ordering the TFS heads i was never told they were angle plugged...well they just showed up and im pretty concerned the 1 3/4 slp headers i just bought for 550$$ arent gonna clear the plugs or the wire boots

these are goin on a 383. since they are the only 1 3/4 shorties in existance im gonna be at a loss on where to go if they wont clear, except for hooker long tubes maybe? to mufflex y

if anyone has an answer please help me out here

I hav'nt seen this 1rst hand, but have been told that the slp's will only work with l98 angle plug heads or straight plugs. Mabee they will clear with shorty plugs?

I have the SLP 1-3/4" headers on my 388 (0.60 over instead of 0.30,) but my heads are GMPP Alum Fast Burn 64cc Vortecs (angled plugs.) I'm not sure what the difference is, but they don't have as much room as I'd like for the plugs. I've had to add wrench flats to a 5/8" - 1/2" drive deep socket for the #3, 5, and 7 spark plugs, and it's impossible to torque these plugs to spec.

I HAVE THEM I have the 23* heads and slp 1 3/4 headers. It all fits without shortty plugs. Dont worry. ONLY problem is the pass side headers number 8 plug. You need a smaller boot. My taylor spiral pro boot would hit the header but the universal 90 bend fit fine

well thats definitely good news! thanks...i have been looking into traxions install of the hooker 2210 long tubes with a muflex y pipe

price wise all together the long tubes will run $900 jet hot coated and mufflex installing their y pipe and 4 to 3'' reducer to my catback

the SLP headers cost 540 coated with the install kit. but their still on back order and i could cancel them...would it be worth the 360$ more to get the long tubed setup

but i think a t56 is out of the question with that as well as dropping the car an inch
