TPI question (i did a search)
Im thinking about converting from my cc q-jet to a tpi system. My question is will my factory altenator bracket, and airconditioning bracket fit the tpi mainfold. I think the ac one will because it takes an intake bolt hole. But the altenator one will it? if someone can please post a pic of where there tpi one bolts too, or if there is a provision for it please let me know

This is for the '87 v-belt setup. In any case it should give you an idea. The alternator bracket attaches to the water pump and the first bolt for the passenger side runner. The a/c bracket is more complicated but it attaches to the front of the intake manifold with two bolts. Do you have a pic of your current setup?

I agree, the a/c bracket looks the same. It looks like you will have a get a TPI alternator bracket. It shouldn't be hard though. You can prolly find one in a yard, ebay, or this site.

If you didn't allready buy the TPI setup, look into a hsr instead. Don't make the same mistake a lot of us have.
