super ram worth 2-3 tenths?
Trying to get the LB9 into the 13's this fall and I got a super ram sitting at the house. Just wonderin if the super ram setup with a BBK 58mm TB will be good enough or should I do some other tricks too
Car went a 14.28 in good air at the beginning of the season. I'll be taking off the frot swaybar and running skinnies and a set of DR's.

stick with the 48 mm TB cause i don't think that lil ole 305 will pull enough air for the 58 mm TB and you'll loose power.

From your sig, it appears that you have stock heads...
If so, then a SR with a 305 will be overkill.
I would plan on some sort of head upgrade, either ported stock or aftermarket...before worrying about the SR.
A modded TPI setup with a 48-52mm TB would be plenty until you get decent heads....

Im gonna see how fast it'll go the way its set up now. Pull off the front swaybar and put the skinnies up front. I'm just gonna put the AFR headded L98 in the red car and go 12's.

if you already have the SR setup sitting at home and it will cost you nothing to switch might as well do it and if that isn't enough for you then spend the money towards heads and other parts. the best mods are the free ones. I know that it will be the heads that are the restriction, but opening up the intake will do at least a little for you.
