bad water pump (i think)
my car is losing water and i found out that when i have the car running water is coming out a little hole in the water pump is there some way to fix that or do i have to get a new 1

Yep, thats the weep hole. Pumps usually leak there when the inner seal or bearings go bad. Probably best to replace it.

That sounds like the problem I had. Pulled the 305 out, pulled water pump off and set it aside. Installed 350 and put the pump on it 3 days later. I go to put coolant in the radiator, and it poured all my Dex-Cool right onto the pavement!
Replace it. I don't think theres anything you can do that is worth the effort to fix it. you can buy a new water pump w/ lifetime replacement for $28 at AutoZone in the event you are dead broke like I was when it happened to me.
