don't the fastburn heads have the same bolt and port configuration as the Vortecs? If so, SPDC's vortec intake should work.

I think they are similar except the fastburns have raised runner ports. I not sure but thats what I thought. Sorta like the Lt1 to Lt4.

Or get some Dart/World Products Sportsman II heads. They're the same fastburn type compression chamber as well, and fit/use all the standard TPI and small block intakes. I'm using the Accel/Lingenfelter intake with my SuperRam 383 setup.

I believe you'll have to use the Scoggins-Dickey Vortec-TPI manifold to use them. Call them and ask them.

1-800-456-0211 or 1-806-798-4108

They'll gladly tell you if that manifold is required, or if any standard SBC manifold (like the SuperRam Accell/Lingenfelter, Edelbrock, TPIS big mouth, etc.) will work.....

The Scoggin-Dickey Vortec TPI intake will work but be prepared to do a great deal of porting on the intake to get it close to the size of the FastBurn intake runners (especially around the injector bosses).

In addition, the port size on the plenum side of the intake should also be opened up and there is plenty of material there to do so.

The transition areas between the head side and plenum side in the runners needs to be carefully blended to keep the flow up and balanced between the cylinders.

Just my experiences.

You can use the SDPC intake for the Vortec heads on the Fastburn heads and then us the Superram on the SDPC intake. I am using the E-tec 200 head instead of the fastburn heads with the Superram and it works great. There are some minor interferance issues with the Superram and SDPC intake but with a little creative thinking the issue can be resolved.

What you can do is get your hands on a set of Felpro 1255 intake gaskets.

If the ports on the heads match up with the 1255 gasket you are in good luck.

The SDPC Base can be ported to match the 1255 nicely, but not a whole bunch further beyond it.

Did you sell the miniram?

I got a ported Superram with SDPC base I might be willing to trade you or sell, oh yeah it is already ported out like a ****.

Vortechs = raised ports
Fastburns = raised ports but typically come a bit larger. Vortech base can be ported to fit.

LT4 also = raised ports and I'm surprised nobody has done a Vortech head LT4 conversion yet... I'm thinking a 305 6" rod with Vortech heads and an LT4 for awsome mileage... somebody stop me...
