wire loom & vacuum lines
Hey guys, I finally dropped my motor in my 86 T/A today
. Its finally starting to come together after almost 2yrs. I just need to ask what size vacuum lines and how long are the sections or lengths of lines that i will need. Im converting from carb to TPI and i have the new painless wiring harness installed and i need to know what sizes of wire loom to get to cover the wiring harness. I have been told i can get all this at pep boys, but i just need to know the sizes from all u guys whove done this before. Thanks,

my suggestion is to estimate your lengths and get several feet of each. reason i say that is cuz you are gonna need different sizes of each and you don't want to be short. vac line is cheap. wire loom can be a little much. i'm getting ready to put my engine back in in a couple of weeks and i did a lot of rerouting, so most of my wiring can't be completed until the engine goes in. i plan on ordering several different sizes of each so i only have to do it once. you will probably have several "tee's" in your wiring, so hard to say from here.
