sending unit by distributor...fuel pump?Please help
I just did a T-5 from auto swap...now my fuel pump wont come on
Is that sending unit for oil pressure by the distributor have anything to do with it?I may have messed it up trying to get it out

I got it...Damn fuel pump relay was un-plugged,previous owner must of broke the locking tabs,and me with all my "grace" must of jerked it out removing booster ***'y!

but to answer your question, yes, it does. if your oil pressure drops below a certain pressure, it's supposed to cut off your fuel pump and kill the engine.
