MAF Sensor Replacement Question
Going to put in a gutted MAF Sensor, but have a clamp question for mechanics that have replaced one. The question is how do you replace the forward clamp, the one closest to the air filters. Is there a special tool? Where do you get the replacement clamp? Do GM dealers carry the tool or clamp, can they do the install?
Thanks for any insight.
If you have photos of a unique setup please add them in.
Thanks,

Yes, it is a special clamp and there is a specia tool. However, you can reuse the old clamp if you have the tool and know how to properly us it.
It looks like a piers, but instead of having a pliers ends on it. It has two small stick things. Sorry, I don't have a pic of it.
