Difference between 85-88 and 89-92 TPI throttle cables

Hi guys, one of the last parts I need for my TPI retrofit this coming week is a throttle cable. I'm using this cable on a 2nd gen with a 327 in it. Year One shows two different throttle cables for the TPI 3rd gens -- one for 85-88, another for 89-92. Whats the deal with this? 89 was still a MAF setup, so I am not sure why it would be set up for a different cable. Can anyone suggest which I should use, and will it have the same fitting on the firewall / gas pedal end that the 2nd gen uses? Thanks

Match it to the Throttle Body you are using...yes, '89 was MAF, but used the same TB as the SD TPI's.

8Mike, thanks, that's exactly what I needed to know. I almost bought an 89 throttle cable on ebay the other day. Good thing I lost the auction, since I have an 86 intake and throttle body!
