Random hesitation

Every once in a while my engine will hesitate at a stoplight. It's even hesitated and died twice. The faster you take off the harder it hesitates. Do TPI's dump extra fuel in like a carb does when you take off? It's random so I'm not sure where to start.

check your TPS voltage. More times than not, hesitation while driving is a TPS problem. It should be around 0.54VDC +/- 0.07VDC. If that is not the culprit, you definitely need a tuneup; plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and possibly 02 sensor. Hope that helps.

I'll check that. I just put in a new set of plugs and wires because it was missing. The next thing I was going to replace was the O2 sensor.

Don't forget the fuel and air filters.
