how high can the hsr afpr be adjusted to?

Engine: 350 hsr trickflow twisted wedge g2 comp cam 490 lift haltech e6gm ,33lbs bosch injectors
Transmission: t700
how high can the hsr afpr be adjusted to?
just completed the swap and fired the car up i seem to only be able to get only 40 psi from my afpr. by turning the nut clockwise it raises the pressure ?i have turned the nut as far as goes ive heard of people being able to raise it to 60psi could anything be wrong with the regulator the pressure gauge that i am using is a liquid filled one permanetly mouted on the fuel rail

Holley AFPRs are notorius for having problems. Most people who have a HSR have had at leats one problem with it if you bought the whole kit and cabodle from Holley. As above though, disconnect the line and try doing it with the engine off and pump priming.

yes the vacume line is disconnected tested it today it seems to be working ok i got it as high as 55psi with vacume line disconnected definately have to lower the psi pulled out a plug it was pitch black
