intake leak or valves leaking??

ok i did an intake manifold gaskets, and new injectors, and new egr, now that its all done it runs like crap sounds like a lawnmower, looping idle, loss of power, misfiring, ok so i pulled the distubtor and was going to number one cyl, when i heard a hissing sound every time i got to a compression stroke, so im thinking its a intake leak, or valves leaking, during a compression stroke when turning the engine the crank pulley by hand could you hear an intake leak??

Not enough information. Do a leakdown test.

Where is the sound coming from? If it was an intake leak you would have to have bad valves first.

I hear hissing sounds when I crank it over by hand. It's normal. Check the timing. Check for vacuum leaks. Check for fuel leaks near the O-rings on the inj. Check fuel pressure.

You didn't do anything to the valve train and I have a hard time believeing that something broke all by itself.

checked fuel pressure, at 48-52psi, brand new injectors, and o-rings, no leaks, if a the wires were mixed would it still time to 6 degrees??
