upgrading my TPI, suggestions?
i just did a 305>>350 swap over the summer, and i just wanted some suggestions on things im going to upgrade, and what you guys think. ill try to keep it short. all the tpi stuff is stock, including injectors, lower intake manifold, etc.
1) #19lb injectors >> something bigger, not sure how big.
2) lower intake manifold >> big mouth on tpis.com
3) headers, most likely the emissions legal edelbrock ones with Y pipe, and high flow cat. (i already have a 3" edelbrock cat back)
4) chip >> not sure where to get one, or how to burn one, need some info on that.
5) Larger runners >> the ones on tpis look a little pricey, so i need maybe some suggestions on other places that sell good ones.
thats pretty much it, this car is an every day driver, so im not looking for anything ridiculous performance-wise, just something to match my current setup, and increase performance to make my 350 run like a real 350!
**any other suggestions are fine, as long as its not something thats going to cost a billion dollars lol**

check ebay for auctions on runners and TPI intake stuff. Save a bundle on that cuz TPIS stuff is expensive as all get out LOL
Runners, large tube runners arent gonna get much better than TPIS or AS&M. both are well over 400bucks.
cheaper option is accel high flow runners or SLP runners. SLP's are cheap and can be ported out excessively. also look good IMO
as for a cam, cheap upgrade like LT1 or LT4 cam would be nice (NOT the hot cam unless you really want some power and can have someone tune it well.)
Check out Fast Chip. They can burn some good chips.

If you are running stock heads I would go with the Edelbrock manifold, SLP runners and port your plenum. Port match everything. Allen

Upgrade your fuel injectors to 22lbs or 24lbs.
You can find LT1 24lb injectors on ebay for less than $100.
As for a chip....go to the DYI PROM forum and read the stickies, it'll answer many questions.
