Trouble with MAF wires

When I went to start my car this morning the Alternator Snagged the wires to the MAF and ripped two of them apart. If I spliced the wires back together will it fix it? If not how should I go about fixing this? Thanks alot.

Go to a junk yard and get one there and then splice it in.

Yes you can splice into them making them longer sauder and reconnect them and it will work fine(take your time). Use the same gauge wire or a size thicker and be sure to use shrink wrap (twice) on all connections and cover everything back up and out of the way.
dissconnect the battery before you start so not to short anything out

Ahhh... done that one before. Mine have been spliced for, oh, about 10 years now. I decided I'd be smart and rerouted the wires on the opposite side away from the alternator, and got to add another splice when the fan buzzed its way through one of them.

Careful where you put them, try to find a safe spot.

use plenty of wire zip ties..some of these wires can catch fire I have seen that happen before.
