Also the knock sensor for a 350... the 305 sensor won't work.

You will need the larger injectors off of a 350 motor. The PROM only needs changed. The whole cooling system is fine. Knock Sensor if going to a different year. The heads from a 305 can be used on a 350.

do you know how big the injectors are on the 305 compared to the 350?

also, would there be any problems with compression?

also, someone said i needed the timing unit off the old engine. is it true?

The 305 injectors are 19lb hr and the 350 are 22 lb hr. Compression will be fine as long as you get the correct size pistons. What are you refferring to as the "timing unit?"

in another post on here someone said i needed the timing unit and described it as a black box (lol great). that's all i know.

as for compression, this block i'm buying has pistons, crank, oil pump and pan and just needs heads manifold and my fuel injection. i have no clue what kind of pistons are in there. what will happen if i build the motor and the compression is off?
