for those that have it or those in the know- what can/should i port the heads and intake to as far as a gasket size. i am using a cc306 cam and 2.02/1.60 valves on the heads.

I don't get it. Ive never ever heard of this cam.. Then I start blueprinting my new setup, choose it as the cam. Next thing I know, I'm running into people left and right that are using one.

Anyway, You can try using felpro 1205 gasket to match the vette heads. I'm 99% sure there is enough meat to port.

There's enough. Also, that's about as big as you'd wanna go with the HSR. You could go with the 2106 but it will make things real thin and you'd have to add some metal to the manifold so you would have a bigger sealing surface.

the heads have already had all of the portwork done on them- and they were ported to a 1205. i have a lt1 intake that has been ported to the 1205 also. i am just still kicking around which intake to go with. i dont know of too many people that have the cc306 with a hsr- but i do know that came seems to work very well in the lt1 engines- although there is a lot more that is different between the l98 and lt1 than just the intakes.
