Vortec Heads 50 state legal?
Someone told me they are not, which is a major let down because I was really looking forward to using them for my build. Anyways, could anyone shed some light on the subject. I know they sell an EGR kit for the heads, but what purpose does that serve if the heads aren't smog legal. Thanks guys

You will have to use the emission setup on a 85-91 Corvette to pass smog. Goto the Southern California Board and find Kevin91z. He will post up pictures on how it works or what to do. You can use any heads without the heat crossover or EGR hole in the head to pass smog.
