i'm running a 355 w/forged flat tops
it has 305 tpi heads ported n polished by me...
i have a summit cam kit DUR@50 204/214 420/442 LIFT 112 LOBE
i don't have $$$ for alum heads
i know i can put bigger valves in my heads
but im looking to unbolt n bolt on in a weekend thing(plus im trying to do it without the wife knowing i got some extra money..
i just started to port my intake n i have slp runners with a ported plenum..., i am running headers w/ a hooker exhaust, 700r4 w/373's

so i need some advice on heads(with casting #'s) so i can try n find some from a machine shop or online..
and some cam help please...

i was thinking of a xe268 cam, ive done a few searches on cam advice but im still not certain on what to choose...

looking for a good kick n the pants and a big smile...

Well. THAT is going to be the tricky part, isn't it? How fast can you eat a reciept?

What heads are you using from a 305?

 

Depending on how much you are wanting to spend I'd suggest Dart Iron Eagles or World Products S/R Torquers. Your cam choice is a good one.

 

i'm assuming there 416's there the origional heads off my 305tpi,and trust me a sip of beer n that reciept will go right down...

 

or could i just swap in a xe268 cam and leave my 305 heads with the stock valves in it and be ok...???please help... :hail:
