Hi Matt
Those are darned good times for the mods listed. I also have an 1989 Trans Am with Trickflow heads and ZZ9 cam to meet the times you have posted. Anyways I'm running a 52MM throttle body and I feel it has helped. With the 700R4 transmission I'm turning to 6000rpm in first gear for the 1-2 shift point and I feel the engine needs all the air it can get. Allen
1/4 mile, 13.30 and 103.59 last time out. Looking for high 12's next run.

yeah nice times. I've been seeing how fast I can go with external engine boltons. Best Ihave managed is a 13.21@104.6 Mods listed in sig. Anyway would be cool to see someone break into the 12's w/just boltons. good luck with it.

I agree- nice times for the mods. Best I could ever get out of a basically stock L-98 was bottom basement 13s, throwing every bolt-on part at it I could lay my hands on. I had SLP runners on mine and a ported upper plenum, though.

Sorry Matt, im calling BS on those times you posted...
stock heads, stock intake, stock runners... hypertec chip?? stock air cleaner, stock cam..
come on now.. you see what mods the other guys have and are running the same times... theres no way you are running that, especially with a hypertec chip.. and stock stop end..
sorry, not buying that one.

i have a 91 z28 l98 that has stock bottom end and heads, accel superram intake, slp runners ported plenum, air foild knn w/ mod box, stock tb, no smog pump, no cats, accel wires and ac delco plugs, w/ a built 700 and a posi 3.23 gears. and i wont even post my reaction and 60ft times because they are that terrible and i ran a 13.7. my buddy w/ alot more respectable reaction ran a 13.2 in memphis motorsports park on a hot humid day.
so i can believe someone is running low 13's or high 12/s w/ bolt ons but i also agree you car is a freak! no other way @ it!

Well,
hes puts ideas into my head that
my car can get there ..
motivates me to say the least.
you have a Speed density system correct?
maybe the MAF car requires more to achieve those ETs?
ill have slips of what I put out within the next month.
(cross dem fingers ))
highly unlikely event I even crack mid 14s

Best times 2 1/2 years ago, with a ZZ-9 cam, trickflow heads, and S/D.....13.00s @ 108. Never broke in the 12s with my 350, but probably would have with my MPH. Oh yea, I had all the other stuff too!
I also hollowed out my cats, and picked up "zero" at the track.
