whats the biggest cam i can run in my stock 5.0 motor and not damage anything i`m just lookjing for a cam swap no new valves if that lt1 cam will work like they said in another post what year should i look for

 

well first of all your going to need to change the springs since they won't be able to handle the added lift of the new cam.
You could run a huge cam if you really wanted to but its not going to do you much good since the rest of the engine is stock and will be very restrictive. I'd get a LT4 Hot Cam, 1.6 roller rockers and new springs.

 

well see what i`m looking at doing is here soon the new tpi base and the phlenum will be proted and i`m gonna have one of my buddys burn a custom prom i didn`t want to have to swap out the rockers if i can get away with it
