Its just corrosion on the aluminum. Aluminum polish and elbow grease will take care of it.

That happens every winter to mine, but it only gets to be a cloudy white. It will get darker if neglected. 2+2 carb spray cleans it off really well.

I tried carb cleaner, and it didnt help it much and alm. polish and nothing doing either. What should I try now? Sanding?

To answer your question.

If you want to take it apart have the plenum and runners glass beaded. It will look new again.
