SVO Injectors and stock clips?
I just picked up my SVO 24lb injectors and I'm trying to install them in the fuel rail, is there some kind of trick to get the stock retaining clips to fit?
The clip slots in the original injectors went right around the injector whereas these new ones are only slotted on two sides.

they should be the same. are you sure you are not pushing the injectors in too far? set them next to each other

I was hoping that it was that simple, went out to my shop to double check but the slot types are different.
I just tried Dremelling the slot all the way around the injector, kind of a pita but it worked...only seven more to go.

Sounds more like LS1 injectors than SVO's.......

i wouldnt do that i just installed the same injectors on my intake LT1 intake and i was lookin at the same problem... u need to use the slot that is closer to the o-ring... the injector must sit flush with the intake side not fuel rail... i did this and mine dont leak.... so dont hack them up and run the risk of gudging them... they could leak
