Need help getting new 36lb injectors! What do I do?

My injectors are bad, I did a test described on the site and 6 of the 8 were off badly. They are probably 7 or 8 years old and are Accel, which didn't suprise me when 6 of 8 tested bad. I hear no good things about accel so I am looking for some 36lb ford injectors but I don't know what a good price is. I am seeing tons of brands of injectors and such but not sure what is good and what is crap.

It may be hard to read what I"m typing but I just pulled a 22 hour shift and worked on my car for 4 hours and I can't hardly keep my eyes open so cut me a break.

Thanks,

Meatwad

36lb injectors are real big. I think its a bad idea to get them that big unless you have a big cam, or a big inch motor, or both.

What mods have you done?

As far as actually getting them, they are available at jegs, or summit.

Wow, that's some hard core tech skillz ya got there! Thanks for sharing that wealth o' knowledge.

It seems like Accel injectors aren't the most reliable, unless you're pushing major cubes as cali92RS tried to say you're better off sticking w/ the right size.

Ford/SVO 24# pieces are a favorite among the 350ci TPI crowd, their 19# ones are good w/ 305 TPI.

More latent homosexuality projection, and now becoming homoerotic. Another commendable step out of the closet and I applaud you for coming to terms with your inner being.

Actually I'm using this as a diversion while I work on my tax paperwork.

Going back and re-reading this and your other thread will help you realize I'm right and I'm trying to help you come to terms with your issues.

The first and only introduction of homosexuality came from you in both cases, again it's not something you should be ashamed of and trying to conceal.

Your subconscious is trying to help you out of the closet, and the courage it took to put it to words is very commendable. If using me as a target for this misplaced anger helped, then I'm glad to have played a part in your self-reconciliation.

(and to the original poster, I'd go with either the SVO 24# or 19# injectors depending on your application)

Actually, i believe your first introduction to the world of homosexuality came in the form of a drunk uncle when you were 12.
It's alright, let the pain go!! You're an adult now, he cant hurt you.

Wow thanks for answering my question, I simply needed to know about brands of 36lb injectors not your sexual desires.

Nerds.

Want me to take a shot at interpreting the significance of oversizing injectors on a "350?" engine, and what it is telling you about yourself?

Thats odd, because hm...wow....the owner gave me a dyno sheet w/ 557hp on spray and 459hp n/a

So it isn't oversized you goon.

I just want a simple answer. Not what you think about my choice, I just want the best injectors for the price.

Now shut up and get back in the closet before your mother finds out.

I dont think that Ford Racing (SVO) makes the 36#/hr injector. Last I checked at Ford Racing, the injector sizes were 19, 24, 30 and 42.

That info would have been good to share on your first post.

There are LS1-type Delphi injectors at 36# flow rating on the market also, very consistent and reliable performance. They're high-impedance so they'll work w/ factory ECMs no problem.
