Can any of the accessories be spun backwards?

I removed the AIR pump on my 91 corvette, and I was considering re-routing the belt to avoid having to buy or build an eliminator bracket. Can any of the accessories be spun backwards? Water pump, AC pump, alternator, power steering pump, etc...

I found this the other day and haven't had a chance to try it yet. The accessories are mounted a little bit differently in a corvette so I'm not sure if it will work or not.

Thoughts?

Water pump, no... not unless you change it to std. rotation. Alternator shouldnt matter except the cooling fan, but I am not sure about the PS. I would think no.

Got a belt diagram?

I have a belt diagram, but I don't have a way to post it.

Anyway, after some more research, the alternator is the only thing that can be spun backwards. There is just no way to make it work on the corvette L98.

I guess I'll have to buy or build an eliminator bracket.

Convert the image to *.jpg format, reduce the size until the file is 100Kb or less, then attach it to your thread.

Lol, no the belt diagram is on the fan shroud under the hood of my car. i don't have a way to take a digital pic of it.

I built a bracket anyway, so it's a moot point now.
