Anyone have dents in their runners?

Like it says, I have a couple dents.

Does anyone know of a way to take the dents out?

I am in the process of polishing my runners and it looks terrible with the dents.

Anyone have a solution?

There is a dude on ebay that sells ball-bearings to straighten them out, but its some rediculous price. I am sure you could find what you need elsewhere for a good deal. My guess would be tap the sphere down and work it around to "push" out the dent

IIRC they are some ridiculous sized ball bearing, like 31MM or something? A long time back I was looking for ways to straighten mine, but I just ended up purchasing a straight set from the classifieds here.

Check out http://www.mcmaster.com/ and look at item number 9528k63. Its a 1 7/16 precision ball bearing. My runners had dents in them and pushing this through worked OK. Its not the perfect size but its very close. the 1 1/2 inch ball is slightly too large.
