Im having some starting problems. the car starts all the time. the problem is that is cranks more than it should before firing and when i does it fires rich. raw gas thru the exhaiust rich. if i pump the pedal a couple times while cranking it fires off faster than if i just wait for it to start. on a cold morning the car starts like it should. the cars a 88 iroc 305 tpi.

 

How's the fuel pump relay?

 

Sounds like leaking injectors. Check the helms book on tips to confirm this.
