Checking spark

How do you check for proper spark? Can you check for spark strength? I would like to verify that every plug wire is send the proper strength spark to each plug.

Hook up a timing light to each of the plug wires and see if they are firing. Then you can go to an auto parts store and buy one of their spark checkers. It is just a tool that is basically a big screw that you screw or unscrew to find out how powerfull of a spark you have.

What do you mean screw or unscrew? In the spark plug hole? Don't they have something that would stick into the plug wire?

sounds like you want a spark tester. Most parts stores should have them. Its just a wire with a rubber boot on the end to go on the spark plug and then a glass tube with a gap and two electrodes on each side leading to a nipple on the end of that side to fit into the spark plug wire. It just makes the connection between the spark plug and spark plug wire so you can see the spark. It wont tell how strong the spark is, but youll be able to see the spark.
