My spark plug picture?

What does the pictures tell you? lean, rich or what? I took them out and replaced with accel header plugs.

Looks fairly normal to me, looks like you might be starting to burn a little oil... is the dark on by the threads oily looking or sooty looking?

looks ok to me also xcept for the black ring might mean something like little unburnt fuel or oil

best way to check for fuel though is to look at the base of the porcelin area but you need some weird **** magnifying lense for that

another thing don't use bosch +4

they are a waste of money.
they aren't designed to give you more power
they don't give the greatest flame travel since the electrodes partially block off how the flame travels
just a normal plug should work a lot better and save you money in the long run

only good thing about the +4 is their design is supposed to last a little longer being there are 4 electrodes but that is it

The base ring is a dark sooty color (slightly rich,) OK for torque, but for max power it should be a light gray. A standard plug would be better, are less expensive, but don't last as long. I know changing them is a PITA, but it's worth the trouble.

isn't thebest place too look for fuel mixture way down inside the plug where the porcilin (sp?) meets the metal?

I've heard both ways but always thought that was the better way to read it

well if im running a litle rich that should be ok as Im am in the process of hooking up a NX kit so the richness will work with that. true?

yes, but the ring is easier to read.
