Cold Start Troubles
A few days ago, I posted because I was having cold start troubles, I replaced the CTS and am still having some trouble. When started cold, the car SOMETIMES is really hard to keep running, I have to keep feathering the pedal. Sometimes it starts fine. If I am feathering the pedal, the response is a tad sloppy, and I must do this for about three to five minutes, then the car will idle on it's own. However, the idle is not stable, it will hunt between 500 - 775, also, the car runs super rich, could it be the EECS canister?? Also, once the car is running on it's own if I gently press the gas, the engine seems a tad confused, it will rev up, but it is unstable and feels like it's missing. This only happens when the gas is pressed lightly. If I were to throw a rev at a light, the car will rev smoothly to about 975, pause for about a tenth of a second, then continue revving normally. I can detect no vacuum leaks and when jumped, all the diagnostic port keeps flashing is code 12. Any hints?

Memorial Day
Well, I couldn't get the eecs canister at my local parts emporium, so that has to wait. However, I did get to do a few things to the car today. But first let's think of the troops.... So, I removed the baffles to the air filters, K&N of course. Changed the oil to valvoline high life, cleaned the engine bay, comound, wax, after a great wash in the shade. Mmmmm...looks nice. Now if only I can get this start and idle thing kicked!!! Happy holidays all!
