Crane AFPR hitting plenum!?! help

I just got done with the 305 TBI -> 350 TPI swap and I think it is running rich because it bogs when accelerating from a stop and it smells rich. I think is caused by my crane AFPR that is tighten down quite a bit to get the plenum on. I'll try it get a pic on here. I had to tighten it down about half way to get the plenum on. I was wondering if anyone else a problem like this?

Yeah,

everyone with a cran AFPR :-)

Either find a shorter bolt that fits, or cut the one it came with down.

If cutting it, run a nut up it first and try to cut it clean. then u can run the nut off and then use a die to clean up the threads.

later

I found one at ACE hardware store that was perfect and kept the one from crane incase I needed to match another bolt to it later.

I don't know why crane makes the bolt that long.

Most AFPR for TPI cars are long bolted. Grind it down or get a new bolt. Believe it is a .8 metric.
