it's under the car sorta but the left passenger seat

off hand forgot the fram part number
any parts store should have it

i think it was a 17mm and 14mm
you will want a flare wrench too
vent the gas tank or pinch off the main fuel line
remove and replace

i also sprayed some wd-40 before

you may need to use vise grips to loosen it

10mm to get the canister loose from the bracket
and you will need to use a good pair of vise grips on both ends, line end and filter
or really just on the line end
the filter is 17mm i believe
spray it up first
pinch the line
open the gas cap

i hard to struggle with the one on her car
but it came loose.

keeps some rags around
you will spill fuel

i did it with just 2 i think it was 17 mm wrenches?

changed mine last saturday...quite a bit of fuel came out but i was ready and had a co worker hold a cup the whole time while i losened the nuts

oh ya i used some wd-40 to losen them up first...mine where complete rust and i managed to break em wasnt too hard.

oh ya and one more thing make sure u put the new filter in the right direction!

im in trouble, i got the nuts to loosen and changed the filter, but somehow i cross-threaded one of the nuts when i put it back on. Gas sprays everywhere and when the car is off, it wont stop leaking no matter what...anyone know what i can do to make it stop leaking untill it can be towed and fixed propery?

thanks

nvm, i fixed it...it doesnt seem to leak anymore but theres no way to be 100% sure. I put some fuel system cleaner in it afterwards and it seems SLOWER . I dont know if this is because the cleaner stuff or the new filter....what a hassle
