R.I.P. T.P.I. :(
Hey everyone. I'm the poster formerly know as Eightysixer. As I posted before I had some trouble with my L98. It turns out that I blew my number 8 cylinder. From what I was told it would be cheaper to get another engine than to rebuild the old one. So now I'm in the market for another L98. Or maybe an LT1. Anyone got any info??

How much are you looking to spend. If you can, I would get an LSx model engine over an LT1. Either way you are going to have to get a different computer and wiring harness, plus all the sensors.
While you can get an LTx model engine for cheaper than the newer LSx, I think you will be happier with that engine.

Im looking for a 350 with at least the same performance as the L98 if not more. It doesnt matter if its rebuilt, new or used as long as its in good condition.

What condition was your motor in before you blew the #8 cylinder? One race shouldn't kill a TPI 350. How many miles did it have on it?

cause I changed my name because I was driving the GTA all the time instead of the 86. I made the name Eightysixer before I bought the GTA. Kinda funny chaning my name and now all im driving is the 86. Oh well, hopefully the GTA will be running soon.
