Tpi bolt pattern

I am thinking of building a motor to replace my 305 but want to stick with my basic tpi setup. I was wondering if I am limited in which heads I can use or is the bolt pattern the same a older SBC intakes.

it changed between 86-87 i believe when they came out with the roller blocks , then again for the lt1s but then the vortec tbi`s are different again, heads were the same pattern but the intake pattern was changed from 12 to 8

if you use an older model sbc... then all you have to do is drill out the center 4 bolt holes so that it makes the same angle as the other bolt holes.. i am in the process of swapping over to TPI on my 79 malibu with a 72 model 350 and that is what i had to do.. just takes a little time and patients....
