85 350 tpi prom question
I just changed my 85 TPI from the 305 to a 350 with Ford 24lb SVO injectors. What proms are available for the 85 computer? Right now, it's running waaaay rich, blue flames come out end end of the exhaust manifold when you rev up the motor.
Coool! Flames!
O.K. - Maybe not so cool.
You may have some real difficulty finding off-the-shelf PROMs for your '85, and may find it nearly impossible for a 350 TPI with the 1985 ECM ('870 model). About the only chance would be an '85 Corvette 350 TPI program.
Beyond that, burning your own PROM is the best method, and probably far better than a stock Corvette 350 PROM. You should be able to scale the injector constant to work acceptably with your injectors.
