Miss in drive but not in park
Miss in drive but not in park
If my car is in park/N it runs great and it revs well but when I put it in drive and start going down the road there is a miss. It isn’t constant but it happens every couple of secants or so. I have no idea what is causing it because it doesn’t happen in park/N. It is happens most at about 1700 rpm and up not so much at idle. Any ideas what it could be would help.

some misses only show up when you put a load on the car.
Have you inspected your spark plug wires for burns or cracks? Also, have you inspected your plugs?
I had a fairly decent miss a while back and it turned out one of my plugs was just gapped too small. I must have dropped it on the floor while putting it in.
