AS&M's + an Accel base with port matching would make a Vast improvement I feel - especially with those heads and cam.

A stock TPI was designed for the 305. It is flow limited on a 350, let alone a good breather like you have. Definately do some induction upgrades. If you are not concered with racing, just scope out the classifieds for a nice used base and runners. Sometimes you can get a good deal, and all thats needed is a good cleaning up. Dont worry about a larger T/B. You can just port your plenum behind the T/B, and pick up some flow.

If he was to put on a mini-ram.
Would his usable rpm go up?

Right now his rpm's go from 2200-4500 then the TPI loses power.
With the mini-ram, it would be from 2200- to 6000rpm? Is that correct?

Are you willing to rev it up to that Sean?

Would he need more convertor then?

What about this?https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=312527

Keep throwing money to the car. I have more tricks up my sleeve

The shorter runner length of the Miniram alone will bump up the RPM range. Might want to consider more cam though.

Most likely will need more converter.

He says hes not into racing, so I would just go the large tube runner route, and be done. This is the most cost effective, IMO.

If he should find a S/R, or M/R, and the price is right, why not?
You can still go fast without the higher RPM stuff.

LB9GTA...

I knew it would not take you long to find this...... just looking for ideas buddy...oh well there is always some thing that can be done to give the car more power, as stated before i'm not racing it though i would love to have a real "monster" on the street...the only one this car has to impress is me and from the sound of things the SS and base combo sounds about right....and as for the mini ram I do not feel that it is nessary for the engine to be reved into the 6000+ rev range when the cam of the combo probably is not best suited to that kind of RPM...( it may very well work) but it will not be the "best" combo.....GTA.

Ps ...LB9GTA ........ your not the only "GTA" with tricks...... ha ha ha This is fun kinda like a secret war...to bad we share a common mechanic... later sean...

In case you didn't see it the first time, his whole post was a sales pitch for his classified ad.... he wants him to go LTR.

I agree that LTR is the way to go for that setup, but the sales pitch - I could have done without that.

GTA, and LB9GTA could be buddies, both from Canada, and what not. My buddy, Floorguy and I are the same way sometimes. Anyone reading our post can easily pick up on the fact we know each other. You guys do know each other I take it, even off the forum?

Yah, we live about 12 miles from each other and met about 4yrs ago b/c of our cars(both GTA's).

It has been friendly competition ever since.

I am the one that makes him spend the $$$ on the car.
Hahahaha

You can help with base/runners, but your cam isn't looking like miniram material...my guess is you'd be dissapointed with a MR setup...you're cam appears to be more SuperRam friendly (mid to mid high RPM range) where the SuperRam is setup for.

Heads are good, cam is good, just need to dial in the corect feedng (intake) mechanism you need. IMO
