Engine: 305 tbi,K&N, edelbrock intake & 3.8
Transmission: 700R4
Need a check list for 350 tpi
I am gonna take the tpi off my 91 GTA and put on the firebird what all do i need to get........
MAinfold and BAse
distributor
wire harness (?where is this?)
emc (Behind the dash right? )
i just dont want to forget anything before it goes to the junkyard!

Engine: all 225+ RWHP
Transmission: all OD
Axle/Gears: Always the good ones
Make sure you yank the fuel line leads.
Take all realys and wiring in engine bay.
Take fan harness out as well.
Sure I'm forgetting something
Hit me on PM and I will come out and see if there is anythign left to grab off the car for you junk it?

Knock sensor.
TV cable for the trans and throttle cable. (I think they're a different size.)
Fuel pump.
The ECM is behind the passenger's kick panel.
I'd do the swap first, then junk the car after you're done.

i would but i aint got time to do the switch right now and my old man wants the car gone.........

If there is a wire underneath your hood, seperate the harness, and take it all. I would take all chasis harnesses + the TPI harness, just to be sure. Relays, Fuses, anything that looks like power goes through it, take it! I'd even pull the harness behind the dash, as well as the instrument panel itself. Not the whole dash, just the panel.
Mechanically, I'd take everything from the heads on up, and from the timing chain cover forward. Leave nothing behind. It may be easier to strip down the motor, and then take the harness - I don't know.
Throwing away a little garbage is free - new harnesses/sensors aren't.

little by little i am get stuff off of it between school and work...and one of the bolts start stripin on while i was taking off the intake mainfold....i ll take off as much as i can .......
