My hydraulic clutch line was resting against my header or engine block couldn't tell and it melted it. Has this ever happened to anyone ? Also how easy is this to replace it looks pretty straight forward any tips or tricks in doing this? It is a stock set up....Thanks Mike

Oh my, someone that actually knows how to use that search function.

RUN!!! It may become contagious to some other members and cause them to actually start using that function of the board! They won't need anyone to hold their hands or change their diapers or... wait a minute... can I start sending people over to your house for slumber parties so they can catch it early?

So when are you plannig on fixing it? Good luck with that and the other!

I hope to fix it asap since it's for sale! Buy the looks of things my best bet would be to replace the whole assembly because it doesn't appear that you can just buy the replacement hose or I could fish around in a local scrap yard and get lucky. I'll let you know how everything pans out....Thanks

Do you have a part number? Is it a direct fit replacement for the T-5 master and slave combo?......Thanks Mike

Not off hand. You can go to any GM dealer and order it. For any LT1 4th gen 93-97 Camaro/Firebird

Yep it bolts right in, the only real differance between the two is the T56's line from the MC to the slave is ~2 inches longer.

is there a trick to removing the pins? When I changed out my slave a couple of months ago, the pin was rusted to the metal fitting at the end of the line and I had to end up cutting the old slave apart since I couldn't get the pin to move at all.

Just finished the swap out to the LT-1 style set up. No bleeding required!! Purchased it from Liberty chevrolet in New Hudson Michigan total cost 133.58 shipped to MA. Only took 2 days to get here.
